Da Bones

EXL is targeting the magistrate because he sees them as a potential threat because they are the negotiations, they are the voice of which could very well unite the ties of multiple organizations together to fight him off. He sees the magistrate as a clear barrier in his way and a potential threat in the future, there for must be destroyed.

Bones worships the Shadowhunter loa. Legba for speed, Lukou for healing, Ogoun loa of war, Dambala for poisons, Samedi for communion with spirits, and Shango for destructive magics. He worships them by orginally giving a contract. In exchange for a constant flow of souls from him, they would grant him their boons and allow him to use certain voodoo magics (if considered on the darker spectrum). He communes with them but they are not guiding hands. To Bones they are tools, of which they are happy to oblige and accept that because lets face it...Lots of souls!

EXL is very skilled in multiple dark arts such as necromancy, nethermancy, and harvester of souls. He combined the arts of the void with a hundred souls each to curse the plushies. When you work the legion and are able to kill so many innocent lives, finding the souls to do so is rather easy. Expect more twisted ideas in the future.
