the problem with missing how things used to be is that you know things are gonna change and they’re always gonna change that’s not inherently a bad thing, it cannot be avoided, but you still miss it. you still want the old way back. even if you get it back it’ll never be the same because it can never be how it once was. that’s just not how things work. it’s inevitable and unfair and the best thing to happen to anyone.
