001. ruby’s current style is inspired by a combination of her elder sister and cousin’s fashion sense. macaria’s is heavily based on gothic and punk, whereas lan’s is very feminine and romantic, in a springtime sense. combining the two, though leaning heavily on macaria’s style, results in what ruby can be seen wearing across the series
002. the three are fairly proficient with each other’s weapons, enough so that they can switch weapons mid battle and continue as normal. that said, fighting together became a rarity when macaria was admitted to beacon before her sister and cousin, and lan was put in another team, so when the opportunity arises, the three are more than happy to jump at the chance
003. mac’s permanently active semblance makes it hard for anyone to keep most secrets from her; overhearing the gossip of ghosts, often centered around occurrences and people in the area, means that she knows more about her sister and cousin than they may tell her. however, she does her best not to use that information against them, only talking about it if they approach her themselves, but it does help her understand them when things are difficult
001. selene’s father is well aware of keah’s presence within his household, almost coming close to kicking her out entirely, but given his soft spot for his youngest daughter and her intense distress when the prospect was brought up, he never went through with it
002. that is the only secret selene has kept from keah, as she doesn’t want the maiden to feel as though she’s unwanted. everything else about her, however, keah knows as the winter maiden trusts her entirely, as selene was the first to open up. in fact, given how close the two are, sometimes keah is the only one selene feels comfortable talking to about particular topics
003. selene has tried, and succeeded to varying extents, to get keah to wear traditional mistral clothing. keah can’t stand how long it takes to put on one outfit, especially the ones selene wears for her performances, but the delight selene has in seeing her in one is decidedly worth it
