chestnut and oleander, a strange pair of unicorns in that they're both males, but oleander has taken to guarding the other year-round as if he were a female. what's more, he guards chestnut from other males, and doesn't even allow virgins to approach him. in springtime, oleander will still seek out and mate with females, but he doesn't form a bond with them, nor does he ever let chestnut out of his sight. it's unknown for what purpose this behavior developed, or how long it's been going on.
