Personality

At first glance, Mirabelle is a studious and serious girl who often keeps to herself. She has a tendency to throw herself completely into a task she's set for herself and loses track of more important things as a result (eating, sleeping, ect). She's highly motivated and driven and wants nothing more than to excel at everything she does. She highly values order, precision, and perseverance.

Because of her one-track mind, she feels awkward when it comes to reaching out to people and making connections and often feels lonely. Those she has managed to become close to have seen her softer side, a diligent and supportive girl with a uniquely dry sense of humor. She has a tendency to speak her mind freely and while capable of being straightforward and honest, she can sometimes be blunt to the point of cruelty. She’s new to the whole “having friends” thing and is actively working on her interpersonal skills.

Her signature spell is called "A Quaint and Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore" (刹那的の図書館, lit. The Ephemeral Library.) When she asks a question aloud, she can conjure a book containing the answer (if such a book exists.) She still has to locate the desired information on her own. More esoteric questions may produce stranger (and much less helpful) books.

The summoned volume has to be a book (pages bound together with a cover) and is physically removed from its location. When she’s done, Mirabelle can will it to return from where it was taken.

Iadara Mythra [Lover]: He's the first friend she made at NRC and (along with Rook) the closest she has to a steady romantic partner. He immediately set himself up as her confidant, offering his extensive knowledge of campus gossip. He dotes on her constantly and loves to do her nails and makeup.

Rook Hunt [Lover]: Rook set his sights on her the moment they met and (whether she's aware or not) has been following her closely ever since. She's grown accustomed to his eccentric habits and finds his romantic advances rather charming. He's delighted by her competitive streak and will take any opportunity to play opposite her in sport and games.

Vil Schoenheit [???]: They both possess strong personalities so they clash often. Though she's often annoyed by his rigid standards and high-maintenance behaviors, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't utterly charmed by his beauty. Under certain circumstances, she actually enjoys it when he's strict 🥴

Epel Filmer [Friend]: She's sympathetic to Epel's desires to be taken seriously by those around him and has become protective of him. Though she's not adverse to telling him to take care of matters on his own in her usual blunt style. Either "excuse me he asked for no pickle" or "Well? Go tell them you want no pickle."

Azul Ashengrotto [Rival]: Mirabelle found him almost immediately off-putting and untrustworthy when they first met. And she was right!! They have an intense rivalry and are constantly trying to one up each other. But like........they still have angry make-outs sometimes.

Idia Shroud [Friend]: They become properly acquainted after Mirabelle joins the board games club. He's awkward at first because Idia but over time they find they have a lot in common (Mirabelle having also been a friendless loner in her original world.) He's also got a baby crush on her but values their friendship too much to risk ruining it by being cringe and having feelings.

Malleus Draconia [Friend/Secret Admirer]: They became fast friends as she was far more fascinated by him than afraid of him. While she genuinely enjoys his company, she remains blissfully unaware of the true depth of his affection. He's come to the conclusion that her arrival in this world was fate at work and she's destined to become his queen and remain forever at his side. He's extremely patient and decides not to tell her, she'll discover her true feelings in due time :)

Trivia

-She's never had a social media account of any kind as she considers it a waste of time. Vil made her a magicam account and while she checks infrequently, she indiscriminately likes any post from her friends.
