This was a difficult one. I have so many to choose from and so many WIPs that I love but haven't posted. I've included the links for anyone who wants to read my fics.
A Worthy Opponent This is the fic that started my obsession (because it has to be labelled as one) with Mon/Krennic. It's the longest thing I've written and introduced me to such a supportive group of fans/readers/authors. Somehow, I managed to write 51 chapters from one miniscule scene between the two of them. Those 51 chapters explore the year between Season 2 Episode 6 and Season 2 Episode 9 through a slow burn tale of two people who fall in love against the backdrop of betrayal, secrets and looming rebellion. And it all starts from Krennic's suggestion that there's nothing like the thrill of debating a worthy opponent. Through the twists and turns of their doomed relationship, Mon demonstrates that she is in fact every bit the worthy opponent.
His Reluctant Empress Another Mon/Orson fic. This is the sequel to A Worthy Opponent. The Empire has won the galactic civil war. Endor was destroyed. Orson Krennic sits on the Imperial Throne. The rebels are dead, taken captive or have fled into hiding. Senator Mon Mothma expects the same fate. She played the game of Rebellion and lost. But her treason goes beyond Rebellion. Her betrayals were personal. And the man now in control of her fate is the very person she betrayed. But his plan for her is much worse than death: marriage.
The Right Call (one shot) Another Mon/Krennic. This one is set against the backdrop of British Politics in which Mon and Krennic have a relationship reminiscent of Liv/Fitz in Scandal. Krennic has to make one of the biggest decisions of his life and needing advice he seeks it from the one person he trusts more than anyone. But in doing so, he rakes up old ghosts pertaining to another decision he made a decade before.
SIN (Collection of One shots). This is a collection of Mon/Krennic one shots that revolve around the theme of the seven deadly sins. This was such a fun one to write and offered me a lot of light relief when HRE was heavy. It depicts a Mon and Krennic relationship that probably takes place within season 2 of Andor but long before the Ghorman Massacre is set in motion.
Pour Me That Guilt (One Shot) Another Mon/Krennic one shot. This one takes place after Leida's wedding. Strangely, it's not Tay Kolma who she seeks out for comfort nor is it Perrin she clings to as emotions overwhelm her once they return to Coruscant following the celebrations. Perrin would be the obvious choice, he's going through it with her after all, has chafed against the knots of tradition in the same way she has, only to watch as their daughter chose it. And it would be so easy to fall into drunken oblivion with him, she'd done it the night of the wedding, after all. But that's not the oblivion she seeks, not now they're back in their sterile prison on Coruscant, Leida absent and the embassy quiet. Tonight, she wants something to take away the pain, the guilt, the realisation that she's possibly lost her daughter forever, to convince her that it's worth it. And that's how she ends up at Orson Krennic's door.
