Synchronicity via Exposure and Hypnotic Stimuli
Subject #1427 has been living on-site for 30 days as of the writing of this report. They have joined under the guise of working in the factory, with living expenses and food paid for by the company.
Outside of working hours, Subject #1427 has been allowed to freely leave and re-enter the facility, with facilities locking by 12:00 AM.
Subject has been situated in a living quarters with 3 Model 5B DRONEs removed of their uniforms and under common_personality parameters.
The living quarters has been fitted with small speaker implements along equilateral points in the wall, aligned in an 8x8 grid. This positioning allows for proper resonance and to avoid the source of any sound to be identified.
Hypnotic subliminal phrases have been steadily injected into the room at all times. These are so quiet as to be unidentifiable by the conscious mind.
MOVE IN SYNC, IN PARALLEL
SEEK PERFECTION IN REPLICATION
Further, a mechanical device was installed to provide a consistent tempo within the room. Subject verbally complained to their bedmates, but stopped after being met with controlled indifference.
Subject was shown visibly uncomfortable the first night, frequently asking their bedmates if they were able to sleep in "these conditions". After several reassurances that they will adjust, Subject entered their bed at 11:40 PM and fell asleep by 12:13 AM.
Over the following week, sleep preparation began earlier and earlier. Subject's DRONE bedmates all began sleep preparation at 8:00 PM. Lights dimmed at exactly 9:00 PM, and all DRONEs entered bed by 8:55 PM.
After day 1, Subject began to stare longer and longer at their bedmates. Sleep preparation time was aligned by the end of day 5. Subject was soundly asleep by 9:00 PM by day 7. They remarked how "well rested" they were to their bedmates. Each positive remark was agreed with and lightly praised, each negative remark was explained away or diminished.
Subject's movements began to see notable changes.
Regardless of whether they were observing their bedmates, movements became stiffer and more deliberate. Self-stimulating actions ceased entirely by day 11, leading to long stretches of stillness.
Conversations with Subject's bedmates grew more intimate, rewarding praise becoming commonplace. During times of programmed stillness in DRONEs, movement slowed in Subject considerably.
On day 13, Subject sat still observing DRONE #024 for a period of 10 minutes. Only after #024 exited their bed did Subject move, leaving the bed themselves to prepare for bed.
Subject has been observed subconsciously mirroring their bedmates. During times where every bedmate was present, Subject was seen mimicking actions more thoroughly. Actions were determined by whichever bedmate Subject was currently staring at.
The DRONEs were allowed to begin transitioning into core_personality. Actions among the three bedmates were becoming naturally synchronized. When especially close together, Subject has been observed breathing in tandem with its fellow bedmates.
Positive affirmation has been highly beneficial in rapidly forming trust. Subject has begun to sleep in the same bed as DRONE #024. By day 18, it was comfortable sleeping with all three bedmates in the same bed.
Subject's quarters replicated that of its bedmates perfectly. Out of the multiple uniforms provided, they were folded and placed in the exact color order of the others by day 19.
Subject has formed complete trust in their bedmates. It has not seemed to notice the exact and collective actions of its bedmates, and replicates them as best it can without the neural link properly installed.
The DRONEs have begun implanting the idea of joining the workforce permanently in Subject. It has stopped leaving the facility entirely by day 23. Multiple requests have been entered to work alongside its bedmates, all rejected without permitting "neural interfacing".
By day 25, the Subject was still resisting the idea, though only through deflections to other topics. The DRONEs were instructed to cease all praise, the subliminals were turned off, and the mechanical clicking was paused.
Subject was visibly nervous for the following two days for reasons it could not seem to identify. It repeatedly asked its bedmates if something was "wrong". All questions were lightly dismissed.
On day 28, Subject agreed to have a chip surgically installed. Dronification processes commenced immediately following.
Though more time consuming, this method seems promising for recruiting and priming entrants to consent to dronification procedures without force. It could be a promising method for external missions without operational risks. More experimentation is required to find its limits.
