✶ ︵ * dash game: knowing your writing partner can potentially make writing together a lot easier!
name: call me c or charlie :>
i don't watch tv shows much these days, but when i do, i binge it in one go / over two days lol. currently brainrotting over my royal nemesis, it's such a fun watch
currently in my gym girl era??? been going 2-3 times a week with pilates on the side idk what's gotten into me... feeling like im sprinting towards my 30s did that to me i guess. but i like feeling strong in my body and that i can kick ass in case i do find myself in danger lol (hope it never happens cause i hate confrontations :> )
my dream cat is a black cat, they just look like a tiny speck of dust that stare back at you in the dark void lol, but my current landlord doesn't allow pets and i travel too much to keep a pet without feeling guilty, so we'll see what happens in a few years!! i love maine coons too, but my terrible nose allergy would never let me live :'>
how long: been around this hellhole since i was 12-14 ish... forgot the exact time, but i remember it was the time these shows were having their moment: goss*p g*rl, the vampire d*aries, true bl*od, har*y pott*r and the likes... kind of drifted in and out through my degrees, but i got back when covid gave me spare time again lol. started my first indie blog at that time.
female or male: i usually have more muse for female muses, but lately my male muses have really been winning... idk, i guess it usually depends less on the gender, but more on how much thought i poured into their backstory and characterisation and how much i vibe with the plot/pairing. the more well developed they are, the more they tend to rot my brain oops.
fluff, angst, smut: i was a huge 'give me angst or give me nothing' person, but lately i've been enjoying the charm of fluffy threads more and more. i didn't enjoy writing smut much since i never felt like i was much good at it, but lately i've been enjoying it more too, but of course it depends on how much i enjoy that particular plot/pairing.
plots or memes: i looooove plotting, making playlists and pinterest boards and all that jazz. as for memes, i'm a huge meme collector, unfortunately i haven't had much time to get to them but i find them to be a great way to develop a character/pairing more as well
long or short replies: i like both tbh, short ones are easier to fit into my schedule, though i don't think i can actually stick to short ones for too long since i tend to ramble, so they turn into medium length most of the time. long ones are great for really getting into the character's head and the nitty gritty of the dynamics, but tend to take longer for me to return to since i want to carve out more time to write the replies my partners deserve </3
best time to write: some of my best writing came when i'm barely awake, so midnights or early mornings, when my filter is entirely off (for better or for worse) lol. but as an adult with responsibilities (sad), i write more on weekends than during the week for sure.
are you like your muse(s): i feel like as writers it's natural to give characters parts of yourself. your beliefs, hopes, fears and insecurities, but i wouldn't say any of them is just like me. i would say the characters that are the least like me are the happy-go-lucky ones, the snobbish spoilt brats or evil crime lords lol, but they're also the most fun to write.
