But then I stumbled upon that event where MC has a dream in which one villain is her lover, and Ellis was so sweet, and the dream ended with him apologizing with such a sorrowful face. After that I was hooked lmao I had to know what's wrong with him!! His face is so expressive, his voice is kind and his whole manner is soothing (except that part where, you know, he is a villain with a curse lol). I saw some people on this site mention that Ellis' reassurance means a lot, especially for those of us who struggle with anxiety. And it's true. His attention to detail, attentiveness and sensitivity to MC, reliability and kindness all expressed in a soft voice are so refreshing to find in a fictional character...
