Hey there yall, never thought I'd have to make one of these, but I do. Due to a ton of unforeseen expenses and the current economic crisis, me and my housemate weren't able to make rent twice this year and as such have to raise around 2,000$. Any bit helps! Some info about us: I'm a 23 year old disabled transwoman, originally from Massachusetts but moved out to Portland because it was cheaper (yeah yeah I hear the laughter), I've got chronic pain and stiffness which stops me from being able to perform at most jobs. My housemate (who doesnt have a tumblr) is called Hibiscus, they're a 19 year old nonbinary person who is chronically ill, they're originally from Hawaii but moved out to Oregon to live with family for a short period before we moved in together We've got an adorable black cat by the name of Goblin, who lacks even the single braincell an orange cat would have (image on the fundraiser) and desperately don't want to have to give him up. It seems like it should be a last resort! Why get that close to the enemy voluntarily? I grasp that there are scenarios where you’ve got no choice, but you’d think those would be relatively uncommon circumstances.
