If you are about to comment any of the above, wait. Wait one minute.
As an artist and a writer, seeing comments like these make me feel…weird. Like I’m glad you like my work, thank you. But the reason I made that work is because I enjoy it, and I don’t want to see “I don’t like” comments on a post that’s supposed to be positive.
It’s honestly so much easier to just like. Or if you would like to comment, just say something like:
“I don’t ship it but Great art”
“I hate this pairing but This is beautiful”
“I ship X but Cute work”
“I don’t like that character(s) but Good job”
Trust me. A short, sweet, simple comment is great.
