Lasha

-Into practising magick but she has yet to be successful

-Born with a bunch of defects that left her without patterns, an extra tail (doesn't have much control over it) and poor vision.

-Her arm was amputated when she was younger but she can't remember why

-Despite everything, she is very upbeat and cheerful

-People often confuse her as male because of the little crest on her head that is typical of males

Locis

-Whereas Lasha was born to the earth clan, Locis was of the water clan and therefore has a different colouring

-Best friends with Lasha

-Developed his orange spots once he reached age of maturity

-Also invests in magick and has mastered a few spells

Drognia

-He's a vault guard for the lower status vaults

-He grew up in a blacksmith family but decided that he wanted to do something else

-Other than when he's on duty, hes always drinking something

-He had a chunk of rock that he rolled round in his tail so much that it became smooth

-Can be arrogant and an asshole but he just doesn't think before he speaks so he comes off as insensitive

Grognyr

-Drognia's older brother

-Is the head blacksmith

-Spars with his brother to keep him in shape and on his toes

-Is very intimidating on the outside and can come off very strong and intense but he's soft on the inside (and cares in his own way)

-Uses his bare hands in the workshop because he is lowkey fire proof

Parivara

-Leads people through swamps at night (50% of the time to thier death/50% of the time it's the right way)

-She very mischievous and cannot be trusted

-Asking the right questions will help you figure out where she is leading you

-Anger her and she'll kill you so be careful. Those teeth aren't just for show

-The necklace, like many others, is actually made from Drongo teeth

Adelie

-She carries around food rations for her and her brother

-The necklace around her neck used to be her father's and it's all that she has left of him

-Favourite hobbies include sowing, cooking and teasing her brother

-Helps Jean with mending clothes and they bond over it

-Was the only one to stand up to her mother for being nasty towards her brother

Andre

-They're twins

-He loves to play his guitar in the evenings

-Always moving and doing something with his hands

-Because of the previous, Dion got him into sculpting and now they have a room dedicated to his carvings

Elodea Nakalī Moreau

-Princess of the Desert Region

-Loves gardening, it helps keep her calm

-Prefers her crossbow over the scythe (her father's) and her whip

-Those white makings are called 'sun markings' (they are recieved once reached age of maturity)

-She and Jean constantly fight because they have a "difference in opinions"

-Cousin to Eldoea

-They stole most of thier clothes from Dion because they didn't have a wide selection to begin with

-Very introverted and prefers to keep to themselves

-Practising healing magic and has asked Dion multiple times to help her learn

-Her white patches of skin are affectionately called sun markings by Elodea

Dionadair Dhaoine

-Has a half brother that he still refuses to call his brother

-Took Jean in when he was 15 as he promised to his mother if anything were to happen to her

-Shapeshifter and has a massive wolf form (as seen in Jean's pictures)

-Loves reading

-Has a very strict routine that he follows in the morning and night

Rhyfel Cyffredinol

-Was a General in the most recent War

-Fought on the battlefield with Dia and Dion (they were best friends)

-Originally she wielded a scythe but then she favoured her bow more (it was a courting gift from Dia)

-The bird was once a pet of hers

-The doll represents Jean, her child, and was handcrafted by her as his first toy

Dia a 'Chogaidh

-Is a shapeshifter and passed this down to Jean, expect he has grey highlights and accents

-Nicknamed "The Butcher" as he slaughtered his opponents in the most violent (but effective) ways

-Rhyfel didn't tame him, she just joined in on the fun (both were vicious as hell)

-He has a soft spot for family

-The right blade is his original blade and the left one (lighter colours) was a courting gift from Rhyfel

Iiestr (Jean-íogair) Cráite-Cosantóir

-The necklace around his neck was given to him by Murtair as a courting gift

-His mother is Rhyfel and his father is Dia

-The "cat" figure next to him is his animal form but miniaturized and the wolf he is riding is actually Dion.

-Dion is a father figure to him

-That's his mother's bow and his father's sword that he is using.

Murtair Gwyn

-Can use water magic but isn't very good at it

-Loves children

-Has 4 younger siblings, 3 older ones

-He is an army general and the purple represents his high status as a royal guard.

MURTAIR

Jean and Murtair have a kind of complicated relationship because it was first started on lies and deception, however, they both still love and have a mutual understanding for each other.

It took a while for Murtair to be accepted into the group because while Jean had somewhat forgiven Murtiar, Dion (Jean's caretaker and mentor) didn't and, following by example, neither did the twins or Elodea and Sam.

Because Dion was there to help put Jean back together again when they stopped seeing eachother. So of course, Dion wasn't happy with the arrangement. But eventually once he saw that Murtair does genuinely care for Jean, he lowers the intensity and is more tolerant towards him. They become friends (eventually)

The twins, once they see Dion has become more accepting, just absolutely love Murtiar cause he's great with kids and he's like the fun older brother to them. They especially love climbing all over him because thier size differences are too funny not to take advantage of.

Elodea is tolerant towards Murtair but they aren't close really. But does she trust him with her life? Absolutely.

Sam and Murtair become besties. Thier personalities, despite being so different, work well together. And Murtair is just overall good with people and Sam needs a softer approach which Murtair is glad to accommodate. He helps her out a lot too with Dion in teaching healing and medicine.

NEXT, JEAN

Jean sees Dion as a parental figure (and Dion does know this) and a mentor. They aren't physically affectionate with each other but they do express it through sharing company and doing things together. Dion would give his life for Jean and Jean would do the same. It took a while to finally find mutual ground and how to live with eachother because Dion only took Jean in when he was about 15, 16 or so.

Jean is the grumpy older brother to the twins. He'll be serious (or just not care what they do) with them but then he turns around and throws one of them over his shoulder. So they never know when he has the energy to join in thier fun but are always happy when he does. And if its him, Murtair and the twins? The prefect trouble making combination.

With Elodea, he's just a pain in her back side. They have a mutual hate relationship and build on each others insults and bickering. But they can work well together, if need be. He loves winding her up because she has such a short temper. An annoying sibling relationship.

He isn't sure how to talk or work with Sam. They're too awkward for him to handle because he can also be awkward and they're too shy and meek for his tastes. He nearly keeps making them cry multiple times and he gets so uncomfortable. He tries but he isn't good with being sensitive.

DION

Dion was very reluctant when taking in the twins but eventually gave in when they wouldn't leave. They're annoying but he does care for them like his own children.

Dion and Elodea are comfortable in each others company but they aren't close. She still annoys him from time to time but he sees through her tough exterior so he doesn't mention it, just treats her with more patience then he usually would.

Sam sees Dion as a mentor and as a parental figure, just like Jean but it's a different relationship. Not quite a child-parent relationship but something similar.

ELODEA

With the twins, she has zero patience for them. She doesn't like kids but she can sort of tolerate them.

Sam is her cousin and she would protect them with her life. They grew up together so they are more like sisters than cousins. Elodea wouldn't trust them with her life but she can count on them to handle her outbursts and feel her back in.

SAM

The twins love them. Especially Adiele because she likes to be calm and quiet sometimes. Andre is constan energy and she needs breaks from her brother. Adiele and Sam like to do things together in silence.

THE TWINS

Adelie and Andre are like glue. They support eachother and are always there for eachother no matter what. The supportive siblings.

Does your character have any hobbies? If so, why did they choose this hobby? If not, do they wish they did?

Jean used to play this instrument similar to a flute when he was younger but it was taken from him since. So now, he no longer plays cause he can't find another instrument like that anywhere else (he's tried). Playing it brought him immense joy, especially when his mother would ask him to play for her.

He does, however, have another hobby. When he can, he likes to mend old or torn clothes of his, sometimes ripping seam on purpose so that he can fix them. He finds it very calming and it reminds him of his mother.

Dion (Dominique) reads in the morning and in the evening. Old works, new works, all academia from demonology and fighting techniques to botany. He enjoys learning new things everyday and finds it somewhat therapeutic reading about animal behavioural patterns and what not (some of which he had written himself)

Murtair enjoys playing with water magik. It was hard since he didn't fit the specific conditions or requirements. But was it worth it. He uses it to make his younger siblings and other children happy and smile and it makes his day seeing them have fun.

Elodea loves gardening. It helps her calm down and makes it easier to control her temper. Staying up late at night, reading how to exactly plant and weed and tend to her little seedlings. Having that commitment and responsibility to something she cares deeply about is the most entertaining and fulfilling thing she has.

Sam enjoys volunteering at health facilities around their city and learning how to take care of people and patch them up. From treating flesh wounds to poisoning, they does it all. Seeing how happy they can make people, and how they are able to make them feel better is very fulfilling and enjoyable. They feel like they're actually doing something and have a purpose.

Andre is in to tinkering and wood carvings. Messing with different shapes and designs in pieces of wood and playing with different knives to see how they cut. He also just enjoys making things, doing stuff with his hands. It keeps him busy and happy.

He has also dabbled with other art forms such as painting and sketching.

Your character is tasked with filling a garden bed with whatever plants they choose. How do they react? What plants do they pick, and is there any reasoning behind their choices?

Jean isn't entirely sure what to do. He's watched his mother garden before but he's never been interested in taking part. Content to just sit on the side while she dug, weeded, and planted in their little outside patch.

He'd try and figure it out for himself before asking (unwillingly) for help with planting the flowers. And flowers because he likes the colours and they look nice.
