On the other hand, fiona talks about a relationship in which she falls out of love because of the others person’s mistakes. Not only does she not like them anymore, she is even disgusted by them.

The metaphor of a decaying pice of carrion is such a grotesque image. Picturing someone you used to love as a piece of rotting meat, of something you just want to look away from because it is simply disgusting. Plus, she isn’t only disgusted in the other person, but she also feels shame in ever loving them once
