'k I need some answers and I don't know if you can help here...I'm kinda new to this whole TS thing. I've heard shake it off but I'm not in her fandom; more of a Beyonce, Michael B J fan but I was on x just chilling when some pics came up on my dash with like 2 mil views or something. So naturally, I'm like what's the tea and gurl, the comments were wiiiiild. Allegedly the guy dated TS and he just hard launched a new gal, the gal from that Kennedy show. Now I been knew that TS writes songs ab her exs, Gyllenhaal anyway? Bu these comments were crazy. They calling home boy homeless, one said he should OD luckily that got placed under spam, comments calling the gal a clone and someone saying their gonna use a t vodoo on both? Like girl. Now there were comments equally happy for this dude, but those negative ones were scary, and I had to find out cuz wtf. There were a few other comments spamming gun pics...maan if I tell you I noped out after that. Anyway, I poked around and I got TS new boo, Travis fan accounts all saying the dude who was getting slammed used TS and that he did it cuz he was bitter and that the guy who's European? was like a bitter ex bc he got dumped and they were posting pics of TS going to some studio and using that to contrast the Kennedy gal pics...it was freaking weird. Safe to say I got no answers, so I landed on reddit and they're making jokes about the European dude and the Kennedy; saying he hated taking photos but now he isn't. One literally compared him to The Hulk level personality split. Then another sub was saying TS hates her ex and is trying to blacklist him from Hollywood using Spielberg? Like why is he in it? But apparently Taylor dated an addict with some saying the blonde was the addict and had depression? Anyway, I kept tweaking with all the shit I'm reading. So I resurrected my tumblr account bc I need some answers...what did blonde dude do? I landed on what seems like TS fan pages and they're very dedicated to Travis and Taylor with one saying the European dude was a fraud and that he got slammed in an album and that he's been mad ever since. Another account is fighting with their anons bc some anons believed that account was saying she was gonna marry at MSG? And that account started slamming anons' moms... I just wanna know what the blonde dude did, why he getting all this heat and why he on my timeline like?...dude has shooters. So I kept looking and I landed here. Is it just the breakup that's causing this...did Gyllenhaal get this or am I tweaking? Like there are people taking up for TS maaan and they are going full scorched earth on this dude.

i am still so baffled and surprised by the choice of steven spielberg in induct her into the shof. i’m a reformed stan and i don’t think i have ever EVER heard her mention spielberg, let alone as a ~storyteller~ influence. it’s always been joni, james taylor, carole king, stevie knicks, shania, etc- classic singer-songwriters and country artists. it feels like such a blatant and shameless move for oscar campaigning to ask spielberg to do this. why couldn’t she be little more subtle and ask like an oscar baity composer?

i'm already cringing in anticipation of her antics over this next year. the THR songwriters roundtable is going to be equally unbearable and hilarious. her SHOF speech proved, if there was any doubt, that she is too far gone to have any ability to show gratitude or humbleness anymore. i can already hear her swiftsplaining her songwriting process to the other potential nominees. 🙄

the thing is that *i* know the reason joe and taylor fell apart is because she got bored of stability and refused to verbalize her issues and all the people mad about joe's new gf seem to not know that BUT. even in the hypothetical that i did not know what i know. the whole 'why were you so burdened by me but infatuated with her' thing ... look in these cases ... there is a very obvious implication that people are choosing not to see.

i understand the feeling some people have of wasted time, when long term relationship doesn't work out, but if a couple was together for 6 years, then it tells me that most likely they were really trying to make it happen and were serious about each other. sometimes it just takes a lot of time to realize that, despite all that effort being put, you have to split, because it is simply not gonna work out. also to me 6 years sounds like a normal span for this type of "serious relationship that falls apart in the end, because we've figured out our personalities are not meshing well despite all the feelings we have for each other". we obviously don't know details, but it not situation of "we've been together for over a decade and have kids, but he still doesn't want to marry me" that swifties are trying to paint.

i actually think taylor would reeaally benefit on a personal level from taking in the themes and messages of olivia's The Cure especially and the other tracks on OR3. when you compare what olivia's been doing with taylor's eternal "my man has saved me/true fairytale love will hopefully save me" schtick it's even clearer how passé, unimaginative and conservative taylor's artistry has become and she's 36 years old! she SHOULD have more interesting, mature and nuanced takes on love, relationships and her own independence that reflect her life experience so far but she's chosen to isolate herself in a narcisistic bubble and in consequence her potential artistry has been sucked out of her soul
