You know how people say Disney soundtracks suck now? Like, compare "Hellfire" to "This is The Thanks I Get?" at least the later still pass for some non movie pop flop, "I Knew It, I Knew You" is so unremarkable and unnecessary, it makes the overwhelming marketing so insufferable that it can pass for musical torture device.

What now, she can't sing "Some other folks might be a little bit smarter than I am" without a little kiss to the ass and reassurance of her "smartness"? Because considering her antics and inauthenticity, let's be real, it's probably staged. The more desperate she tries to push the image that she's smart, the more it seems like a compensation that shows how stupid she is.

And what the fuck was that performance. She can't sing and she can't act, not even voice act—don't get me even started on Lorax. Soundtracks, especially original ones included in scenes and not random songs you put in background of a montage or credits of average romcom, they require some voice acting, or some theatrics to convey the emotions and story, getting into character. This woman can't put herself in character other than herself—and people wonder why she lacks empathy, just look at her acting skills.

At some point, her old voice used to fit average 2000s teeny boppy talk-singing songs, but all those years of bad singing and bad posture have ruined even that. She's a worse singer than she was at her early career, and with all those overexposure and unnecessary voice notes and performative interviews, her voice has become very recognisable AND IT'S NOT A TYPE OF VOICE FOR CHARACTER OR ANIMATED MOVIES SOUNDTRACK. Even Mandy Moore, while can be insufferable, still did better with Tangled, Taylor Swift can't even perform the bare minimum.
