CAPTAIN'S LOG. Day, THIS one.

Caught a crewmate on task messing around with this... thing. Confiscated it when an asteroid almost hit us because they couldn't FOCUS on their JOB.

They were halfway through making some kind of... Journal?

I'll be using this for archival purposes instead.

... Any readers that don't know the crewmate I took this from can rest assured that not only was it definitely already stolen from some base we stopped at, but also that Carrot's unfiltered thoughts are PROBABLY a hazard to see anyway.

We've been ALMOST OUT of EVERYTHING for days. Flying with 40 PEOPLE on board is no joke, it took miracles to keep my own CREW from noticing the larder was running empty.

That changes TONIGHT. The COLONY has a RESUPPLY depot. I got in contact with them, and...

... They told me to show up at dark of night like I was some criminal.

Hopefully, I can badger them into sending the supplies direct to ship...

See, funny story, we... THE KEEL delivered about 25 CREWMATES, and their PERSONAL EFFECTS, and SUPPLIES for them.

BUT - and I called MIRA about this, and they said the same - the SUPPLIES for them are meant for them WHEN THEY ARRIVE. Can't crack those boxes open ahead of time.

So, all those EXTRA 25 PEOPLE have been eating through MY CREW'S supplies. And, all that to say...

THE KEEL is basically, ah, OUT. Of EVERYTHING.

So, I'm here to resupply. And I guess you are too.

THE KEEL ends up doing crew transport pretty often, but... not usually as many as this time. I'm hoping we get a chance to just enjoy having an average crew size. For a bit, at least.

I wouldn't know, they barely tell me anything most of the time. Just where to bring the crates, how to place them, and when. Aside from the placement procedure of my cargo I'm pretty in the dark all things considered. You probably know more than I do, actually. I don't even know where this stuff is going once I'm done managing it.

I, uh, used to be in a proper crew once, actually. Not anymore though, as you can see. I'm basically my own crew now. I'm as much the captain as I am the janitor and the technician.

They don't- they don't trust me to be in close proximity with others for extended periods of time. To put it simply.
