Listen - what’s happening right now is despicable. Police murdered George Floyd in broad daylight, recorded on camera and they continue to hide behind their system and remain fully protected. I’m filled with rage and grief because of the injustice and the inequality of the vile, cruel system that has been set in place - and I cannot even begin to fathom how those who knew and were close to the victims of these crimes feel. This is not okay. I know that it’s been said before and it’s an obvious thing to see - after all, innocent people are being slaughtered over something they cannot control. Over something that is human and something that is them. This needs to change. You might think it’s something uncomfortable to talk about, but it needs to be said. And people need to listen.
