SO NEXT TIME YOU’RE CHILLING WITH YOUR MOIRAILS, IMAGINE A BEAUTIFUL BENDYPOO LYING ARSE NEKKID ON THE FLOOR BETWEEN YOU. CAN’T FIT A WHOLE SHERLOCK?

It doesn’t, like, matter? Whether or not we assign a fetus “personhood”  doesn’t really change whether or not a pregnant person should be forced to give up their bodily autonomy against their will? 

Like, woman can not just STEAL men’s livers in the dead of night, even if they NEED those organs to live? The elderly don’t get to just go around and harvest the kidneys of the young in back alleys? You can’t just, like, kidnap a person and drain all their blood, even if it is used for life saving procedures. Fully grown, autonomous people with rights and consciousness are not allowed to violate the bodily autonomy of others, even in deadly situations. 

So…why would we let a fetus do this? Use another PERSON’S blood and uterus and stomach and everything else? For months? Altering their body irreparably? WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT? 

Actions have consequences. Do people really not learn this basic concept before they turn five years old anymore? 

When you do something yourself, knowing what the consequences might be, you are not logically allowed to then complain about a lack of autonomy when those consequences happen.

Like, if I break my leg riding my bike, that’s a consequence, but I’m still allowed to seek medical attention to fix it. If I have sex and get syphilis, that’s a possible consequence, but I’m allowed to seek medical attention to cure it.

Do you not see the difference?

You think you’re logically correct in that position? Seriously?

If you do something to your own body no one is violating your bodily autonomy, again, you dense fool.

However, if you kill a baby or a fetus you are violating theirs.

Secondly, a fetus doesnt have autonomy because it isn’t autonomous. That’s kind of the issue, isnt it? That, like, removing a fetus from the womb will kill it because it’s not autonomous. It relies on using the body of the pregnant person to survive.

And my point is that we respect bodily autonomy over the obligation to preserve life . Thats a super fundamental foundation for a LOT of our ethics as a society. Its why organ and blood donation is, ya know, donation and not mandated.

As I’ve said many times, when you take an action, the results of that action are not anyone else controlling you, the results of your actions can not violate your autonomy because it was YOUR action.

You can’t possibly be this damned dense. I’m convinced you are intentionally being obtuse in order to continue to support death at an astronomical scale.

Your only point is that you support mass murder yet refuse to call it murder on a technicality and an apparent inability to properly understand the meanings of words. I fundamentally oppose this wholesale slaughter of innocent humans.

You seriously think you are correct. I am amazed and saddened and feel I need to explain since you are somehow not getting it.

To recap, you claimed a fetus is not a baby, I said that is incorrect. You then provided definitions that claim a baby is a young human and a fetus is a young human prior to birth. These definitions support MY argument and disprove YOUR argument since a fetus is a young human, just one who has not yet been born.

The terms newborn and infant absolutely are not relevant to the disagreement on this particular point.

The definitions I posted for infant and neonate and highlighted for you clearly use the word birth. As in, after being born.

But, regardless, no person, regardless of age, gets to use the organs of other person against their will, for any reason. This is the foundation of a lot of ethics. Its why organ donation is always voluntary, even though children die all the time needing organ transplants.

And I’m not comfortable with the idea of the government deciding that it gets have my body be used against my will for the benefit of someone else.

March is Women’s History Month! To celebrate, we’re honoring the courage of those who insisted women have a voice at the ballot box.

So, in the search of my dream of publishing a book… whether it is go indie and self publish, or searching for a publisher… they all rather take manuscripts that have already went through an editor.

THE BIG PROBLEM IS I DON’T HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY. lol.

Every editor I have searched and asked for information charges around 3000 - 7000 dollars. Ya girl here doesn’t have that kind of money,

I’m 24 years old and still live with my mother, so go figure. 

SOOOO. 

I am obviously willing to pay for the service, obviously. So… there’s freelances everywhere, but I rather have someone working with me with a recommendation (idk, maybe your sister/cousin/best friend).
