My name is Noor Al-Anqar, from Gaza. I am a mother of three children:
Hussien (8) , Raja (7) , Yosuf (2), who was born during the war and has known nothing but fear and instability.
What my children hunger for has been stolen by war.Our home was completely destroyed. Since then, we have been constantly displaced, searching for safety and finding none.
We live under constant danger, with severe shortages of food and basic necessities. The provider of our family was injured, and the burden has become even heavier.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. I once dreamed of having a stable job and a normal life. But the war changed everything. Now, my only dream is to protect my children and give them a safe future.

A New Beginning for Me and My Children
Hello my dear friends,
For more than two months, my fundraising campaign has been on hold. Despite my real need for every bit of support, I couldn’t restart it because I didn’t have the help needed to complete the account setup.

Hearing that many will survive with their children and escape abroad breaks my heart.
I am still here, gathering scraps of food for my children, searching for warmth,
and clinging to a temporary sense of safety.

I am a strong woman, armed with my education and my university degree, believing that one day they would save me… but not in this reality.
Despite all my strength, my children remain my greatest weakness the pain I stand helpless before, no matter how hard I try to be strong.
Hussein, with his small heart and big mind, loves learning in a way that breaks my heart. He never gets tired of asking for notebooks to write down what he learns, as if knowledge is his lifeline. He makes his own toys with his hands, inventing simple ideas bird traps or games that require tools I don’t have. I watch him trying to create joy out of nothing, while I struggle to provide even the simplest things that could help him.
Rajaa… a little girl with a beautiful, gentle spirit. She loves dresses and accessories, and she loves taking care of herself like any child should. So often she holds my hand and says,
“Mama, I wish I had this dress.”
She also loves drawing. She asks for a notebook and colors, wanting to paint a world more beautiful than the one she lives in. I swallow my pain and change the subject, because I have nothing I can promise her.
Even my little Yusuf did not escape this deprivation. He was born just one month before the war and never learned what toys truly are. When he sees a toy in another child’s hands, he clings to it as if it were a treasure something rare that cannot be missed.
As for sweets and chocolate, he cries so much for them… as if they were a great dream, not just a small treat.

You wake up in the morning in full health, have breakfast with your family with no one missing, go to work with money in your bank account, return to a warm home, and spend your evening wherever you like.

or do we simply try to survive this day?
Away from New Year’s,
others strive to bring joy to their families, filling their homes with food and warmth.
But we struggle just to get a single meal…
