my friend nader @abdalsalam2000 has been begging for help from absolutely desperate circumstances. the state of life in gaza is unimaginable, and i feel for him every day. it hurts my heart, man. nader is a great kid. i taught him photography over text, and he was so excited to learn. he really sees beauty everywhere. i admire him for that quality, really, and i care for him so much. whenever i learn something new about him i am endeared to him more. this is a good friend and what i want is his happiness, but first and foremost i need him to survive.

he is struggling a lot financially, and everything is very expensive. help him at least reach his goal. thank you all, please donate.

Help a man from Gaza get medical treatment for his father?

Ahmed Mazen Hammad ( @mazen-fmaily ) is from Gaza, and needs our urgent support. Donations are slow, and need to pick up momentum.

As stated in this post (by @ana-bananya), Ahmed's father has multiple illnesses, like hepatitis, heart and kidney disease.

He needs daily medice and life support - daily dialysis treatments and oxygen to keep him alive and as healthy as possible. This is difficult in Gaza, as hospitals are desperately low on supplies, and are crowded and repeatedly targeted.

Now, $400+ is needed for and urgent liver resection. Ahmed dosen't want to lose his father, and if we reach this goal, it can litterally save his life.

They also need food in water, but due to the Israeli occupation being cruel and inflicting genocide and humiliating conditions, that is a heavy task.

While going to one of the "aid" centres, where soldiers have confessed to firing at civillians, Ahmed's foot was severely injured, and he needs surgery to reconnect the tendons in his leg. His leg risks amputation.

Imagine being the sole one responsible for your father, relying on a slow fundraiser to pay for your father's much needed treatment, and becoming disabled because you tried to look for desperately needed food. All of this on top of the terrible conditions on Gaza and threat of airstrikes. We cannot even fathom these experiences.

This is what the occupation allows to enter, to show the world carefully staged scenes, scenes aimed at polishing an image and distorting reality, convincing people that life in Gaza has returned to normal.

But the truth hidden behind all these images:

Building materials are banned.

Reconstruction tools are banned.

And everything we need to stand on our feet again… is forbidden.

What is the use of all these goods if we live in a tent torn by the wind?

What is the use of food, phones, and markets if my family has no warm shelter to protect them from the night’s cold?

My dear friend Noor Al-Anqar is a mother of three young children. After months of living with no access to food, some supplies have finally started entering Gaza. But she fears this may only be temporary, and that the crossings could close at any moment, bringing everyone back to the cycle of famine.

Noor cannot provide her children with safety, as all of Gaza has become dangerous. She cannot provide them with education, as schools in her area have stopped. But what she holds onto now is the hope of giving her little ones the simplest thing they deserve: food to strengthen their fragile bodies and make up for the months of hunger weakness.

The little support she receives is not enough, and she is in urgent need of donations to be able to feed her children. I write this knowing that her words come from the heart of a mother who only dreams of seeing her children healthy again.
