Crawling my way back to the parts of myself I was able to hold onto and building up the rest has taught me that wallowing in despair and acrimony and incredulity becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. I really do not believe anyone is without hope and to steep yourself in disbelief of that steals me away from myself. Fighting cynicism and nihilism and pain off w a broom rather than internalizing it and confusing that metabolization w something integral when I know in my soul that my body is home to so much more than that

i don't much believe in god or fate, but you've still got me on my hands and knees praying that you're the one anyway ;(

keep the sun in your heart
