“A few immortal beings and a demon later I’m convinced it’s not only humans who dislike us… But humans are more panicky and weak minded.” Lydia huffed, crossing her arms in the same stubborn manner as before, “We don’t harm humans when we drink from them… We make sure they never even knew we were around.” The vampire took a few steps back away from him, “Since of course you had no interest in even knowing my name, I’m sure you have no interest in knowing me so if you don’t mind I should be on my way.” Before she could turn as she was carelessly walking backward, the woman tripped on a root around the tree, bottom first to the ground. She huffed, shaking her head and scolding herself.
“Humans harm that which they do not understand. Although in the case of demons, it more justified. A human can be a tasty morsel. I of course, would never eat one, but some demons enjoy it…. What’s stopping a vampire from a drink here and there? Surely you all are not bound by the same rules?”
He arched an eyebrow when she fell backwards but he said nothing. Although, it was amusing, it never once crossed his features. Sesshomaru only tilted his head a bit.
“You have a point.... No. We are not bound by the same rules. There is another race of our kind that enjoys the brutal murder of innocent mortals for their own disgusting pleasure for blood.”
Lydia let out an uncertain nervous laugh, “Well? Mind helping me up or are you just going to stand there and stare at me?”
