PACAR AIR Pacar Air, in Bahasa Indonesia pacar means boyfriend/girlfriend, air means water. I don’t even know why they call it like that. In Latin it is Impatiens balsamina L., the aliases are: garden balsam, rose balsam, la balsamina, and touch-me-not. It is originally from South Asia and widely found in Southeast Asia as well. The flowers are white, red, purple, or pink and it has shape of small orchids. The stem is thick but it is not woody. It cannot live at dry environment. This plant can live without its root because it can “suck” some waters, so you can just cut the roots and put the plant in a glass full of water. The interesting part of this plant is the seed. If you touch the “fruit”, it can pop out with some seeds, this is why it called touch-me-not. And if you spread the seeds on the soil, the plant can grow naturally. I was in Bilbao, last year to meet a friend of mine. Actually she was living in San Sebastian, but we managed to do a day trip from there to Bilbao. Surprisingly for me, Bilbao was quite a modern city. The public transportation, metro and tram, city center, and the Guggenheim Museum, there was also some parts of the city called an old town which was really pretty, The picture of old town is being my phone wallpaper until now, because I really like it (I took a really good picture 😉)

I was came from San Sebastian by train to Bilbao, and came back by bus. During the trip you will go through between the trees, some green on your eyes, and a really nice scenery of the mountain. Nice trip :)))

It was Ramadan when I was there, travelling while fasting did work for me. It was a hard day, but Bilbao would be a pity if you were only inside your room and waiting for sun to set. It was tooo elegant to be missed. Annnd while you should avoid Andalusian city when the summer comes, you should you should you should go to Northern Spain during the summer, since it is more colder there in Northern Spain.
