Rest in Peace, Valentina Cortese (1 January 1923 – 10 July 2019), an Italian actress who worked for a time in Hollywood in the late Forties - early Fifties. Her film career covered five decades, stretching from Italian historical epics to American film noir to French films (she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in François Truffaut’s 1973 film Day For Night) to Franco Zeffirelli’s Brother Sun, Sister Moon and on and on.
