Nolan nodded his head, “Snail mail, invite me days in advance.” He scrunched his nose, taking another drink from his beer. “A reason to celebrate? I agree with that.” Nolan raised his glass, “What are you drinking? Or have you already been celebrating for a while?” Nolan hadn’t been here long, so he hadn’t drank too much, yet. Her question made him raise his eyebrow, “I can’t go tooo crazy, that’s why I decided to stick with something simple like this.” Nolan didn’t want to go overboard, he felt he did that too often, but that was because he didn’t like to say no to a good time. 

She laughed nodding making sure to actually write him a note next time as a joke. She loved how he always just went with her dumb jokes. She reached over and put her hand on his shoulder with a grin “Oh don’t worry, I have not started without you.” She teased “I havent had any reason to celebrate yet” she said softly before looking around the room. “Oh please, I would never let you get too crazy and like make out with someone ugly, that would be embarrassing for both of us” she half joked and sipped on the drink in hand. “But we will still have fun” she nodded.

         “ i’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you can sympathize with this ‘cause you’re so hot. ”  cel begins, giving cambrie a look.  “ one thing men will always have is the audacity… ”  she rolls her eyes,  “ because, like, why did i take myself out on a date and this rando walked up to me and literally said  ‘i lost my teddy bear, can i sleep with you instead ?’”  cel pretends to gag,  “  —-  like… pickup lines are already a no as it is, but at least make it funny. ”

Cambrie rolled her eyes with her and then grinned at Celine as she spoke and shook her head looking down. “Honestly I swear they have not made up a new pick up line in 50 years” she agreed with her. “I can totally understand” she laughed softly “Sometimes being hot is exhausting”  she said with a laugh at her gag “Honestly, I feel like some guys have started to feel intitled with tender and all, the internet is a breeding ground for freaks”

Nolan chuckled at her playful joke, Cam’s humor always got him. “Me? Busy? I thought you knew me better than that.” He nudged her gently, taking a drink from the glass he was holding. As much as he wasn’t the biggest fan of beer, it was what he was going to drink today. “I definitely want an invite next time,” Nolan shrugged his shoulders, nodding his head, “Yes, maybe it was my spidey senses that brought me into the bar.” He grinned, “But actually, I finally completed this assignment that had been kicking my ass, so I decided I should treat myself.” When was an assignment not kicking his ass? But when he completed things like that he truly believed in rewarding himself in some way.  

Cam nodded at his comment with a confident smile “Oh right, I forgot you can never be too busy for me “ she winked at him playfully and laughed. She had always been happy in Nolans company, he was always someone who made her laugh. “Fine, I will hand write you a personal invite next time’ she said taking a drink as she nudged nolan back. “oh you did now?” she raised her brow and ordered two shots “well sir I think that means we have reason to celebrate” she said just looking for an excuse “The night is yours, what kind of reward do you want to celebrate?” she smirked over at him with a brow raised.

Nolan had decided he’d needed a drink after completing a rather difficult assignment. He was proud of himself for finally finishing it, so why not celebrate? Nolan had grabbed himself a drink and was walking to find a place to sit down when he heard a girls voice calling for him. He turned, raising his eyebrow and smiled when he noticed Cambrie wrapping her arms around him. “Hey, Cam.” He chuckled, “You’re here by yourself? Why didn’t you text me?” 

Cam pulled away to look up at the boy infront of her now and shook her head “texting you, late at night, I didn’t want you to get the wrong idea” she joked with a small laugh and shrugged “No, I just thought you might be busy, but next time I am dragging you with me cause its not the same without you here” she smiled sipping her drink “So what brought you out here? Did you have spidey senses that I was in distress?”

Cambrie loves; being taken care of though she would never ask for it or show it, intimate nights in with someone she loves, flowers, wine, and sunshine.

                        How would your muse celebrate valentines day:

Cambrie would usually go out with her friends for dinner and drinks and just enjoy being single bad bitches. If she was with someone she would get all dressed up for a nice dinner then spend most of the night in the bedroom with them.

                                           Their Ideal date:

Though Cam likes to normally endulge in the fancier things, her real ideal date is something more intimate. Something the other has planned out that is thoughtful. A home cooked dinner with candles and flowers where they have real conversations and can end up clearing the table with their bodies.

Aurora had clocked the avoidance. Not in any way that made her suspicious, there had been many times that Cambrie and her had gone days without even hanging out, but since the ski trip Aurora just had a vibe that something was going on. It wouldn’t be something she’d question unless needed, but she did have an eye peeled. “That’s what I’m thinking,” the blonde agreed, standing up and resting a hand against a wall to keep herself secure. As the two moved past to the ice rink, Aurora still had a hand resting against the railing until she fully touched down on the ice. “I’m not going to fall,” she protested. “I don’t fall,” in fact, Aurora didn’t plan on doing anything that wasn’t anything less than graceful. She probably wouldn’t be a pro, but she had more confidence in her athletic abilities to fall over like a third grade buffoon. She let her feet hit the ice and started slowly skating, getting a feel for the feeling of the ice. “This isn’t too bad,” she commented, skating alongside Cambrie. “You haven’t been answering my texts,” she said, deciding to get straight to the point as she looked at her best friend. But… there wasn’t a need for accusations, just curiosity. “Busy semester?” She asked with a quirked brow.

The brunette had followed the other girl onto the ice and she chuckled softly at her friends protest “Of course, you are going to look immaculate on the ice.” She stated with a node and moved with her, knowing that if anyone could look like they have been doing something for years with confidence even if they never have done it before it was these two. Cam always faked it till she made it. She glided along side of her and smiled softly before hearing her asking directly about her dodging her. Which she did not expect much less, their friendship was usually pretty direct. She looked away quickly “Oh, yeah I uh sorry I have to put this whole choreograph dance together for a semester project and preform our own choreographed ballet next week.” she stated softly which was not a lie, but it also was not the whole truth. “I am sorry how are you doing?” She asked putting the smile back on her face as she skated around the turn avoiding the people around them.

joey was walking down the hall, he was pretty sure he was lost and he didn’t even know what he was doing there, but he had to have a reason to be there. and that’s when he saw cambrie walking out of a classroom, which took by surprise. he was about to greet her but was taken by surprise and he just stood there as he watched her. “i didn’t even run into you…” he said quietly, before looking over at the other and raised an eyebrow. “why were you in a debate with him? did he say that penguins aren’t real? because i would totally believe him if he said that.” he said, nodding his head slowly as he grabbed his backpack on his back by the straps as he kept his eyes on cam.

She nodded shaking her head “I am sorry again, you did nothing wrong” She smiled softly at him and knew she over reacted but honestly if it was anyone but joey she probably would have gave them a few more choice words. She ran a hand through her hair taking a breath “He was trying to say that my assignment was- wait what? You don’t believe in Penguins??” She asked her eyes widening a bit and a laugh fell from her lips as she watched him “God youre so cute” she laughed again.

Cam was just done with having a meeting with one of her professors in which she gave him a few select words on the grading he gave her, and how it was completely unfair. She felt really heated still as she marched out of the hallway and swung a door open to leave and someone almost ran into her and she scuffed “What the Hell, watch where youre-” She stopped seeing Joey and felt her shoulders relaxed seeing it was a friend, she laughed softly shaking her head at herself “Sorry love, I was just in a heated debate with my professor and hadn’t cooled off yet” She gave him a smile hoping it was enough to earn his forgiveness.

Cambrie was sitting at the usual bar she could be found at on a Friday night, decompressing from the long week. She was finishing up the last of her second martini and scanned her surroundings, she spotted Nolan in the crowd and her face lit up. She slid herself off of the barstool and onto her heels, marching herself over to the boy with a smirk. She threw her arms around him him from the side and looked up at him “Noley!” She giggled softly from the alcohol. “Ugh thank go you are here I was getting sooo bored” she said with a grin tilting her head.

Logan smiled as Cambrie interacted with Margot who was quite happy just pretending to be shy by hiding in his chest but he could see that she kept looking at smiling at Cam before hiding again. “Thanks. I’ll be back in a few.” He picked up Margot’s comforter blankie before making his way upstairs to put her in her cot. It took just over ten minutes to get her settled enough for him to leave the room, grabbing the baby monitor on the way out. 

Coming back downstairs, he waved the little monitor in her hand. “She should be good for about half an hour to an hour now.” He told her, putting the monitor down on the end table. “So how are you finding being back here? I’m guessing you’re preferring the not so cold weather.” He shuffled a few toys back in to the toy box like he usually would when Margot went for a nap. He knew he was also just making small talk to take a moment before the main conversation they needed to have but still, he wanted to check in. 

Cambrie was laughing as she saw the little one hiding her face, she scrunched her nose. She could see the similarities between the two so clearly, both so sweet and silly at points. “Of course” she said softly, once he walked away she took the time to pick up some of the toys and cleared off the dining table for him, it only took her a couple minutes but she felt like it was the least she could do. she could not imagine how busy he was between school and taking care of Margot it just made her really respect him.

Once he came back she was sitting on the chair looking through her book. She smiled wide seeing him and raised her brow “Perfect” she spoke softly watching him move about and folding her legs under her, taking a deep breath thankful for the talk that was a bit lighter than what was coming “Oh yeah, I was not made for the cold” she laughed softly “Though I did not miss that homework, and my sore feet from dance “ she laughed kind of nervously “What about you? I am sure you are glad to have Margot back.”

Logan nodded his head slightly when she mentioned they should probably talk. At least that could wait until he put Margot down for her nap. “Well, come on in. Just don’t judge the dining room if you go in there… We had a little bit of a sensory play incident earlier.” He moved out of the doorway so Cambrie could come inside and walked them to the living room, picking up a few toys on the way to move them out of Cam’s way. “We won’t be long but if you want a drink or anything, just raid the kitchen. You’re more than welcome to anything.” He offered.

Cambrie couldnt help but smile mostly to herself at the thought of him and his daughter doing activities together. She always knew he was an amazing dad but seeing it was a bit different. “Promise, no judgement” she chuckled holding up her hand as if swearing under oath. She walked into the house and shook her hand her hand resting on his back as he was picking up “Stop don’t worry about it, take your time.” She said softly smiling waving softly at Margot “Sleep well princess” she smiled wider at the little one. “Thanks Lo” she nodded watching him. “Ill be here”

Logan gently bounced Margot on his side to keep her entertained as she happily babbled away, even giving Cambrie a little wave when they were introduced. “You’re not intruding. I was about to put her down for a nap in a couple of minutes if you could wait around. I’d appreciate the company…” He answered honestly. That and he still felt like they needed to talk about things. After all, they were no longer on the mountain. There was no reason for any of this to continue and maybe now they could actually speak with a clear head. “If you need to get going though…” He still gave her an out if she wanted to leave. He’d respect however she wanted to deal with this situation. 

Cambrie smiled at the cuteness of the two. And bit her lip nervously as she heard him offering her to stay, and saying he wanted the company she knew she would never really turn him down. She ran her hand through her hair. “Yeah, I uh of course I can stay” she nodded “We should probably talk anyway..” She mumbled softly as she watched him and looked up at him meeting his gaze “I finished my last class today so I am pretty open, I can do my reading while you put her down” She gave him a soft smile, she just liked being around logan it made her feel comfortable, but she knew that they would just have to stay friends. Go back to only seeing each other whenever she was with aurora.

Margot had only just been dropped off with him about twenty minutes ago so he was sat in the living room entertaining his daughter when he heard the knock. He wasn’t expecting anyone so his first thought was that Margot’s grandma had forgotten to give him something from her staying over at their place. He hoisted Margot on to his side in his arms and walked over to the door where he found Cambrie stood. “Hey, I…” He greeted at the same time as her which made him stop so she could speak. “Thanks for bringing it over.” Logan took it from her with his spare hand. “Oh, er, Cam, this is Margot. Margot, this is Cam.” He felt the need to actually introduce them. “Do you want to come in or do you need to get going?”

Cambrie tried not to stumble on her words when she saw him and his daughter, usually kids terrified her but something about seeing him with her made her feel even more attracted to him, which she hated. She gave a small smile to the girl “Hi there beautiful” she said before turning her attention back to Logan with a small nod, “Oh no I wouldn’t want to uh intrude with your time with your daughter, I am sure she missed you..” She said looking down her hand rubbing her other arm a bit awkwardly knowing she also was missing him but they were back and they needed to stop whatever was going on, it was already going so far for her.
