It’s crazy how every single time in the past, you thought you’ve found the right love, only for everything to go down the drain because really, you didn’t. Love always gets you in a messy place and you crawl away stronger every time, but your heart never forgets - making the next chance at love more difficult, both for yourself and the next person.

I miss how easy it was to see you then. I only needed to get through the week and come Friday, we could easily grab a quick dinner, always feeling like it's a reward for a job well done. If not that, I'd drive to where you are on a Saturday morning - no traffic, just you and me talking and laughing about random things in the car. There are probably a lot of things I realized I could live without, but I know I'd still rush back to you when all of this is over.
