why are you only making art of the brown (he's also chinese (and white) but i dislike poc as a term) kid when he's a child and harmless and when he can barely make a functional thought, isn't that just weird... like you start hating your children when they start forming thoughts, that's what it reminds me of and it having to be the non-white character is jusstttt and i feel the same way when in a non-centric fic of damian when he's like 10 that's just annoyinggg also in matt fraction's!! tim drake's too old to be robin move on already omg stop de-aging other characters to accommodate for the white robin

#my unpopular opinion is that Bruce means it #not just in the moment but generally #because it's happened before #and Damian straight up asked him once and Bruce couldn't think of an answer which just... fuck #I've been that kid and my dad was SHOCKED that I had to ask and seemed shaken when reassuring me that of course he did like me/was proud #Bruce seemed caught and racing to think of something to answer that wasn't a lie... because he doesn't like Damian #everytime Damian is possessed/doing something evil he's like “I'm not sure if this is him or not it's not out of character for him” WOW. #also he's so obsessed with Damian having friends because he's so unplugged from his son's life that he doesn't know he has any #he has plenty of people around his age that love him and enjoy his company! Bruce only knows about Jon because he is friends with Clark #but there are others #Bruce you've met Maya and Maps and Flatline and you know Connor Hawke and Rose Wilson #this is embarrassing #(but then again he doesn't think about them because he truly doesn't think anyone really LIKES Damian other than Jon (he's so nice!)) #and maybe Dick but that goes on the column of “Dick is perfect” not in the “Damian is fine” column #bad batdad (canon compliant)
