Oh that’s so nice, thank you! And yes I LOVE The Craft! I saw it for the first time when I was about 12 and I’ve seen it so many times since. I always wanted to find my own coven of cool witchy women. 

As far as Richie and Eddie are concerned, I can definitely picture a scenario where Richie becomes more good looking as a teen and starts getting attention from girls, which he never had before. And maybe he befriends this shy, awkward girl in one of his classes who falls for him, and actually appreciates his goofy sense of humour and his loud impressions of celebrities, and doesn’t even mind that he’s disruptive in class or that he wears shirts with extremely garish prints on them. She just can’t stop thinking about him. And he’s so kind to her too. He never makes fun of her like other boys at school do. 

She keeps thinking of asking him if he’d like to spend time with her, except there’s one problem. Richie only wants to spend time with his friend Eddie - this small, pretty boy who’s in a couple of her classes. And he’s completely fixated on him too. Like if she’s ever talking to Richie in the hallways or in the cafeteria, and Eddie comes along, Richie will just drop her immediately, he becomes so laser-focused on the other boy. There’s no one else he gives that level of attention to, and there’s no one he teases more. He does it until Eddie blushes and tells him to get lost. But Richie doesn’t stop. Even though Eddie always ignores him or tells him to stop being stupid, Richie doesn’t quit. And she realises she’ll never be able to get Richie’s attention with Eddie in the picture. 

What no one knows is that this girl comes from a long line of Derry wiccas. Her mother always told her never to mess with magic. That anything negative you did would come back to you times three. But the girl doesn’t care. She thinks about Richie every second of the day. She thinks she’ll die if she can’t be with him. So one day at school she takes a strand of Eddie’s hair when he isn’t looking, and when her mother isn’t around to stop her, uses it in a potion to mimic Eddie’s form. And it feels strange to feel her form change, but when she looks in her bedroom mirror she understands what Richie sees. Sees the freckles. The button nose. The buttery skin. She sees why Richie would look at Eddie and not be able to see anyone else.

That day she approaches Richie after school and she doesn’t hold back. She can’t, not now she finally has a chance. “I love you so much, Richie,” she says to him, though it comes out in Eddie’s voice. And Richie thinks it’s a joke. Laughs in a strangled way and tells her to shut up. Until she presses up against him and reaches up on her toes to kiss him firmly on the lips. And Richie reels back and stares at her in shock. He says, “Wait, Eds, are you serious right now?” and all she can do is nod frantically as she pulls Richie back in, needing to feel his lips on hers more than anything. And her heart trills when he responds, pushing back against her eagerly. I knew it, she thinks. And maybe it’s slightly soured by the fact she’s not in her own body, but she can’t bring herself to care. Because a moment later Richie pushes her up against the wall behind them, and his eager hands are slipping down to grab her ass through her shorts, his lips almost bruising in their intensity. “I’ve wanted this for so fucking long, Eddie,” he says in between savage kisses to her face and neck. She moans and says, “Me too, Richie, I’ve wanted you ever since I first saw you.” And Richie groans hard and starts fiddling with the waistband of her shorts, as if he's about to shove his hand inside. And she thinks, god, I’m about to have his fingers inside me.
