everyone i've talked to about this has been completely unaware so: if you didn't know already, there's going to be a solar eclipse, with totality or coverage of 90% or more in some places, over a lot of europe, on august 12th 2026. in the uk it will start just after 6pm, and the maximum will be at 7:13pm.

i really love coincidences. was talking to my cousin about her major (urban planning) and she was complaining about robert moses and i brought up his involvement in the new york worlds fairs of the time. later i realize the game i was playing at the time (fractal block world) has a reference to the 1939 new york worlds fair. which robert moses was involved in. absolute nonsense. this sort of thing happens to me all the time too which is fun

fractal block world. it sure is a game. i was gonna, like, explain it here but i don't think i can. you should play it. it feels a bit like it was made by an alien that doesn't know what a videogame is but has predicted what an "interactive motion picture game" could look like and is trying to make one themselves.

Deltarune dream i had

so the dream was post ch5 weird route. In it, Noelle gets the soul and makes it to the other side of the lake. That’s all from Noelle…

Then, Kris drowns. Their body washes up on the shore, where it is found by Susie. She’s like “KRIS! Are you okay, man?!” Then she realizes Kris is dead and she freaks out, shaky text and everything.

Susie then takes Kris’s body and books it to Castle Town, in hopes of pulling a Gerson on Kris. It doesn’t work. Susie shows Ralsei (still with the shaky text) and he freaks out too. Susie casts BetterHeal on Kris’s body (which is now in its dark world outfit), but to no avail. Susie leaves Castle Town without telling Lancer (lancer is way too silly for this)… but then, Susie (carrying Kris’s corpse) notices that the unused classroom door is unlocked. She goes in, sets Kris’s body down, and makes a Dark Fountain.

The resulting Dark World is like a 2nd Sanctuary of the Card Kingdom (but without the hue shift because dream logic). Kris’s body wakes up and Susie realizes that she successfully “gerson’d” Kris. However, this body is shaky, and acts like Kris does without the Soul. Kris’s body is confused about where/who it is, and once Susie explains all she knows, Kris’s body tells Susie about the Soul and where Noelle is, and we can actually see it speak via textboxes, though it does speak very slowly.

Susie looks around, thinking Ralsei should be here by now, but it’s barren.

Kris’s body thanks Susie for reviving it, but it is very tired and would like to rest. Susie is okay with that, and asks Kris’s body to seal the fountain. But then Susie realizes that without the Soul, she and Kris’s body are stuck here.

Then i woke up.
