i think it's pretty fascinating how homestuck and 17776 share almost the exact same format and a bunch of themes but their vibes are completely opposite. reading homestuck feels as mind-rotting as reading 17776 feels soul-healing

Fallout is one of the series where the franchise’s fans don’t want the developers to develop another game in the series.

Well. I would like more. But not by Bethesda. Would def take more from Obsidian. They do good work.

After playing their latest Fallout-like game, The Outer Worlds, I’m not convinced Obsidian would be a good candidate for the Fallout series either. At least not current Obsidian.

New system: Now after every disappointing game in a franchise, a new developer is chosen at random, and need to make the best game they can. They keep the right for it as long as they can make good games.

Imagine a 3-person indie developer being told they got 4 years to develop a triple-A open-world game starting right now.
