Day one thousand of thinking about sans in deltarune. It feels obvious in hindsight given the neutral routes but oh my fucking god hes such a proactive HELPFUL guy. Not even just helping tori clean and refilling her groceries but like the stupid grillby joke pun flavor text in chapter 5 about sans helping the cat family upgrade their grill. Like it takes traits i was actively aware of from the neutral routes and making it a defining character trait. And its just like. Holy shit. Thats just his personality. Thats just who he is without the depression. The anomaly/player/inability to go home just takes that from him. Guy who is naturally thoughtful and helpful is so beaten down he can only muster the ability when its a necessity forced out of him (no mercy/queen alphys/ king papyrus) Blowing my brains out. It makes the ‘lazy’ comments also just. Even worse😭. And paints even more layers to sans and paps relations… ripping my skin off

So i watched everything everywhere all at once again and if you dont know, its a movie staring a troubled mother and a troubled daughter and their terbulant relationship.
