Saturday was day 300 of my running streak. To celebrate, I took part in my first virtual race, The Oatmeal - Beat the Blerch. Humidity was a bitch, but still not too shabby. Lessons learned: 1) Do not keep gu in your sports bra. They bite. 2) I need a hydration system (with storage).

I sort of really adore how off put The Doctor physically is to Clara these days.

Few people really know what they want to do with the rest of their life at such an age. The rest of us require a lot of experimentation, and trial and error, before we even decide on a direction, and ya know what? That’s ok too.

Today's 5 miler is brought to you in part by: Mocha flavored Gu, air conditioning, and 90's tunes (because when you can't run with your buddy, ya have to have something to entertain yourself).

Thus far, my week has consisted of a weeklong marathon of doctorwho (leading up to the new episode soon!), and sexy time. Suuuuure, I haven't really gotten anything else accomplished, but no complaints here. ;)

Upon receiving their food, Dude 1 is disappointed to find lettuce on his plate. Dude 1: "I hate lettuce!" Dude 2: *laughs* "Why, man? Lettuce is like, neutral food." Dude 1: "Because it's fuckin' crunchy, man!" Dude 2: *laughs* Dude 1: "It's not funny!" Hahahaha what???

First bloody toe. I'm officially a 'runner.'

White Wine Wednesday - because you just can’t argue with alliteration.

I am currently getting my 10k training on, even though I just jumped into it for a race a while back. Doing it all nice and proper this time. September 20th marks my 300th day (in a row) of running, and I am celebrating by participating in The Oatmeal's virtual 10k. Virtual races always sounded silly, but I'm sorta jazzed. After a nice, post "race" rest (some single mile days), I will begin training for a half marathon. 😳 I have my eye on a couple of races already. Always good to have a goal, right? So, yeah... Running! Woo!

For the record, I would gladly wear an ‘I love James May’ shirt. In fact, I rather fancy one. topgear
