I got banned from Twitter after 13 years. So hey I’m back. And fuck Elon. Got banned from replying to a tweet of someone posting a video with a child that clearly had Down’s syndrome that read: “I wouldn’t help this child bc my spidy senses are tinglin”. Naturally I retweeted saying “this child is clearly special needs (not funny to make fun of) kill yourself”. I was wrong for saying kill yourself even if it wasn’t literal- but it was also very wrong that that tweet went viral with that caption at expense of a child let alone a special needs child. I’m very gay so I’m always going to stick up for any minority, especially the ones that can’t use their voices. I have a niece that’s extremely autistic, can’t talk (non verbal) in diapers and helpless. My man also has a sister with Down’s syndrome. Both of them are the most pure sweet humans I’ve ever met. So that tweet was triggering. That’s my family. Idc come for me for being gay bc I can handle it but don’t come for special needs individuals and not expect someone able to be affected & respond. It’s very low and gross. Fuck being censored. I was wrong in my word choice even if it wasn’t literal- but I’d never have to reply if a viral ignorant ablest post wasn’t allowed to circulate.
