Fem(?)Alastor in Wonderland AU:
Based on your Fem!Alastor Defeated Overlord chapters, I use the (?) because Alice!Alastor is pretty fem in the main AU, but let’s have a little fun!
Without the coatdress to camouflage them, Velvette sees Alastor’s teeny-tiny waist combined with the hips that are four times wider and the naturally curly hair!
Considering their negative associations with living dolls, Velvette’s doll body and with her being a relatively young lady, Alastor has been mentally taking note of any signs of abuse like what himself or his Little Ones faced.
Velvette is from a considerably more recent time than Valentino and Vox, when mental health was taken more seriously even if she was obviously living in a culture that encouraged self-harm for the sake of the ‘perfect body.’ So, I wonder how she might react if she were to see Alastor’s scars on his wrist especially with the stirrings of a crush on them. If she were to take it seriously, especially with them wanting Alastor to join the Vees properly, I could imagine her bringing it up with both Vox and Valentino. Vox has seen Alastor’s scars before, but due to a combination of Vox’s own poor handling of Mental Health, his idolisation of Alastor and straight up denial, Vox had never (allowed himself to) put the pieces together.
Like in the Slumber Party ask I sent before, the pink nightgown Velvette gives Alastor wear starts to smell like smoke and burn at the ends. When questioned, Al shrugs with faux nonchalance that, ‘it just happens sometimes.’
In this AU, Valentino may still have a monopoly on Erotica and the Drugs Industry but Old Joanna rules supreme in the Cabaret Bars and Escort Services. Valentino has quantity, but Joanna has quality.
Through Angel Dust and Vox, Valentino knows that Alastor is on speaking terms with his rival but not how or why until the livestream.
Valentino: *with a sulky undercurrent* So, how’d you meet Jo la vieja puta?
Alastor: *his eye twitches but remains outwardly calm* You mean, Ol’ Joanna, the owner of the most successful cabaret bar in the Pentagram City, ‘Peppered with Kisses?’
Valentino: *sighs before grudgingly admitting* Yes… her.
Alastor: *cheerfully* She was my nanny back on earth!
Valentino: *spits out drink in shock*
Velvette: Ew, Val, you almost sprayed my phone!
If Allie was giving Valentino and Velvette disappointed mother undertones, the more experienced Alice!Alastor is giving the disappointed mother overtones… on steroids.
Alastor listens as Valentino rants about Angel Dust, coldly examining his freshly painted claws, and titters, “You hit him, drugged him, raped him, allowed Vox to hypnotise him-” Alastor’s eyes flickered towards the camera and then back to his claws, “and still expect him to love you? You want to know what I would do if anyone were to attempt that bullshit with me?”
The pain from the wound and cocktails loosens Alastor’s tongue enough that he complains about how ‘insensitive’ Vox was and how he had obliviously driven several Little Ones to tears.
Alastor mentions not just his parents, but also the Little Ones who had made it into Heaven. He explains how if any of them were hurt, he would kill not just Vox, but Carmilla and anyone else involved in the construction of poorly planned invasion.
The Towers’ Security Team is working overtime to keep two implacable intruders out… and failing. The elevator dings and in scamper Alastor’s corgi guards with goofy smiles. Alastor, who is NOT funkin’ drunk, doesn’t even pretend to be annoyed at their presence and dissolves into giggles when they scramble up onto the couch and start licking his face. The stream’s comment section is starts gushing.
Ooohhh - My first thought was that rather then Alice!Alastor in that situation it was Allie in his position, with the fire and asylum and Bumby and orphanage - in which case Allie would, in fact, end up short for Alice.
Allie is absolutely trying to figure out if Velvette is a grown up Little One, and was abused like her and them, Velvette notes the self harm scars and brings it up with Vox and Val later cause it could be a thing to use, and Allie absolutely has her nightgown start to smoke and singe at the edges.
And lol yes, she was her Nanny! While Vel is like 'so, can WE get a cannibal army?' Val is like 'can you get me a merger with Joanna? A meeting? Please?'
Alice!Allie is so disappointed mother its making Val, Vel, Charlie and everyone watching the livestream feel it.
Allie - oohhh. Allie says 'I pushed the man who did that to me under a train!' Which means everyone gets to sit with that.
She absolutely complains about Vox being bad to the little Ones and Val and Vel, who had to deal with his fucking Maracas, are giving her sympathy and saying they know how she feels, ugh Vox he's so WHITE, so many microaggressions!
Ohhh yes, Allie speaking of the Little Ones in Heaven!
I love it, I can picture it, she's laughing and trying to stop them licking her face and she CAN'T and meanwhile the Veees are like 'how the fuck did they get up here?' and the security of the tower is decimated lol.
If Allie gets drunk enough, and after being given earth ingredients, she might well introduce them to Wonderland, though only with her there and with no key given, and she'd keep them away from the Sanctuary.
That, or the Chesire Cat and so on start showing up.
