day 4 - Connection

Wily grumbled and sighed. He was going to regret this, he knew, but he wasn't about to listen to Forte loudly pace all night. Knocking on the door, he sneered, "may I come in?" 

"Do you really need to ask if you have authority?" Forte retorted before plopping down in the chair. "Fine, yes come in." 

"I ask because I hope you say no," Wily stepped in, tired gaze fixing on the defeated posture of his creation. "Whats wrong with you now? Is your arm broken?"

 Forte squeezed his left shoulder, "No... nothing is wrong." 

"I'm not stupid." 

"I had a dream that is all, nothing more." He swished a hand dismissively. 

Obviously this wasn't going to be anything less than pulling teeth. Wily rubbed his face before turning and heading out, leaving Forte to squint at the door frame. A familiar cadence of paws and jingling echoed up to the room, followed by a large leap and the wooden chair slamming into the wall. Forte sputtered and spat playfully as Trebel continued to lick his face, her tail swishing wildly.
