Anon, I'm in DESPAIR checking my John books because he did say that but for the life of me I cannot remember where. After you've been a fan of something for a veeeeery long time and have read hundred of books about it, you start misremembering where the stories came from. I'll keep looking, if I find it I'm posting the exact quote here.
