âWhat are you having? Iâm still debating whether to remain on the same lane so I wonât get drunk or regret my choices next day,â though now as a werewolf that didnât happen quite often, âor if I should try a new drink. Enjoy the evening outside, not being a mom for the night.â Which it wasnât that regretted being one, she was just tired of only being seen as such. âItâs nice to meet you Nina and you do to. I mean, youâre a gorgeous woman, so the smile is just part of the whole package,â Aleyna chuckled. âMaybe another gin and tonic. Iâm being basic tonight.âÂ
â
âIâm actually having a gin and tonic, so we can be basic together.â Nina didnât seem to be bothered by the brunetteâs words and she hoped it showed in both her body language and friendly tone. She felt for her, really. Most people deemed mothers to be just that: just mothers, and they were so much more. âIn that case, Ally. Iâll buy you two drinks. One for the bet and one for your night off.â Nine settled with a smile, before offering her hand for the other woman to take, so she could guide her to the bar. She then ordered two gin and tonics. âOnce we get our drinks, would you like to sit down? Iâd love to hear more about you. I promise I wonât ask about Ally-the-mom, just whatever else youâd like to tell me.â
