lol my unpopular Choices opinion (that means potential spoilers) is that I couldn’t bring myself to be mad at James for the whole Regulus situation at the end or the quaffle moments bc I was so desperate for them to have something.

I was in denial & had been crying for pretty much every single chapter since chapter 11 atp. (so what like 40+ chapters straight almost?)

I sobbed out of pure relief when the afterlife moment happened bc I needed anything that wasn’t them separated. Them reuniting was just a fresh new set of tears, but it wasn’t from utter pain lol.

Did I feel bad for Lily? Yes. Do I think she deserved better? Yes. But I was there for Jegulus & not Jily, so I don’t feel bad saying that I wasn’t mad at James & I did in fact cheer when they kissed.

It was very clear that Regulus was always going to be the one no matter how much James loved Lily or how much life he built with her. He was still holding onto Regulus on their wedding day.

and then one day the skittles and marauders go out and this time regulus is the driver. He's fucking insane. He didn't even have anything to drink yet he's going 70 on a 50, running some stop signs, flipping assholes off, shouting at pedestrians to move their asses while using the crosswalk, running at least 3 red lights and somehow doesn't get pulled over.
