Best fucking moment of 4.2.

I have here 2 poses to draw feet but I show 2 others in the linked video so be sure to check that out!

Front View

1. the front view starts off as a trapezoid. with the right side being the inside of the foot.

2. Add in the ankle and curved line for the bottom of the toes. The inside of the ankle appears smaller and higher than the outside. To show depth, start the big toe a little to the left of the inside of the foot

3. Mark where the toes are going to separate, starting with the big toe. Then divide the remaining area in half, then divide it in half again. You get 4 seperate areas for the little toes

4. Draw in curved lines for the toes and make sure the tops of the lines are going up and to the right

Erase away the guidelines!

Side View

1. Start off with a right triangle

2. Add another traingle to the right side to show where the heel is going. Draw a line at the pointy end of the main triangle to mark where the toes will start

3. Draw in an arch about halfway through the large part of the triangle. Connect it to the toe line with a curve for the ball of the foot and to the edge of the “heel triangle” with another curve for the heel.

4. Draw in the big toe and make sure the lines form a hill where the bottom of the toe meets the rest of the foot

*Note: I remember this in valleys and hills. There are “valleys” at the bottom of the toe, ball of the foot, and heel. There are hills where the toe meets the rest of the foot and between the ball of the foot and the heel. So going from toe to heel it is: valley, hill, valley, hill, valley.

Green=valley; blue=hill

5. Last is the leg and the ankle! The part connecting to the heel is straighter than the front. The front of the leg has a sharper curve where it connects to the foot.

Then just erase away the guide lines!
