From the start, it’s seemed like Dorothy’s the adventurous trail blazer, while Maryanne’s more laid back. But they both hold their own during kitten play and chasing. Our 3 month old leopard cubs at Tubu are doing very well and delighting all the guests lucky enough to see them. Our once heavily pregnant alpha female wild dog has produced 12 puppies which are now being seen at their den on Hunda Island. And now for the second year, the Pel’s fishing owl is incubating one egg in the tree right in front of room 4 at Pelo Camp! Rare Amur Leopard Cubs Born at the San Diego Zoo by San Diego Zoo Via Flickr: The San Diego Zoo has achieved another milestone this spring, after 4-year-old Amur leopard, Satka, (pronounced Saat Ka) gave birth to two cubs—the first time Amur leopard cubs have been born at the Zoo since the rare species first arrived in 2011.
