-Sensei was genuinely afraid that Kai was going to be the green ninja, there was a reason he didn't tell them of the prophecy because of what happened to Morro
-When they all found out, Kai became arrogant and obsessed with the idea of the green ninja, which is EXACTLY what Wu feared
-Kai still was the last get his true potential and he still had that showdown with Garmadon and when in the volcano he still had a chance to save the blade or Lloyd
-The reason he chose Lloyd was different tho; he had realized how foolish and arrogant he had become, he was putting an innocent persons life in danger
-At that moment he didn't care about the bad guys or being the green ninja, it was about doing what was right and saving the people he cared about
-The energy had awakened in him, once he came to that realization it was clear he was meant to be the green ninja
-When the golden weapons reacted to him, he felt a sense of pride and honor; he didn't gloat or brag that he was the green ninja but, he honored his teammates for their hard work
-As to what happened to his powers, his fire is still fire but, it burns brighter
-So who was to be the new red ninja??? Lloyd of course!
-Kai needed preparation to fight garmadon and take on the responsibility of being a leader, so what better way to do that was train Lloyd
-Kai maybe the green ninja but, he's still impatient and has a lot still left to learn, that shows when training Lloyd
-Does Lloyd have powers??? Yep! He's got the power of energy
-In Season 2 with the Grundle, it all plays out the same and Lloyd gets aged up
