I thought I was unbreakable, But I’m breaking down. I thought I was unafraid, But fear consumes me now. I thought I was unparalleled, But I was so easily replaced. I thought I was unforgettable, But everyone has me erased. I thought I was unstoppable, But darkness halted me. I thought a lot of things about myself, But now I’ve been hit with reality.

I’ve had diabetes since I was 6 and I’m now 17. I began to suffer with depression and anxiety when I was 13 and I’ve only just began to receive help for it. After a few months of therapy I began to realize that my depression and anxiety was most likely diabetes induced and I can’t begin to explain how much more I hate this having to live with this disease knowing it’s caused that too.
