"Perspectives." New mural off Wylie Street near entrace to east side trail of the Atlanta Beltline. Perspective 1: A promising young black man shown in full color; Perspective 2: Insecurities and distorted viewpoints held by some that have lead to acts of racial oppression and violence (in Ahmaud's case murder); Perspective 3: Binary and limited viewpoints that see people soley as b&w, good or bad, etc. I painted this mural to remember Ahmaud. I designed the mural so that many that walk/run/bike/drive by it will question "why" the facial spilts.
