What Alastor Needs to Move Forward

So I watched this amazing video analysis on Al, with this REALLY MOVING section covering RadioStatic (Al's side is from 23:35 ish). It's amazing. The basic gist is "Alastor is afraid to ever open up again because of what happened with Vox".

Which I think means that, in order for Al to get the happy ending they propose for him in this video, he has to have some kind of closure with Vox, and it can't just be killing him or going on with this destructive crazy whatever they have now.

For me, what I want for RadioStatic in canon - as opposed to fandom where they can marry and be in love forever in 10 billion diff ways - is for them to get some kind of healing and closure. For Vox to let go of his toxic self-destructive obsession and maybe become a marginally better, happier person. And for Al to be able to find some kind of closure/catharsis for the friendship he lost. I mean, we can dream.

The flip side though is, if Al's story does end up involving him pushing everyone away, entering his main villain era and dying a villain, it will be because he never recovered from losing his first friend in hell enough to trust anyone else again. And that's too bad....(more to follow...)
