you have to get that when someone calls a woman mannish as an insult, that's uncomplicatedly just misogyny
punishing women for perceived failures to perform patriarchal femininity is not remotely "misandry," because it's not about a hatred of men or masculinity. it's about punishing women for not performing our roles. men don't get punished for being men
furthermore, I think a lot of people, trans women included, lose the capacity to understand this when the target is a trans woman. transphobia doesn't cancel out misogyny just because it misgenders trans women. the transphobia provides cover for the misogyny
transphobia is an excellent trojan horse for misogyny, because it suggests its target could not be a target of misogyny in the same breath that it, you know, targets its targets with misogyny. your shooter is arguing that you're biologically immune to bullets while shooting you
if I tell you that women are being put in men's prisons and subjected to sex slavery in which they are called the "wives" of male inmates they become the property of, does it change anything that these women are trans? does that make it not misogyny? look at who benefits from misogyny and who is bound by it
