Gollum!

I really forgot about this blog for too long, but don’t worry I have been practicing and practicing. Here’s my current standard of work! Still not great, but compared to what I used to be looking back I’m really happy!

I’ve tried to avoid uploading practice drawings but I thought if this is meant to be a learning blog I should probably show the times when I try and experiment and do quick dirty sketches with new styles

It’s also been a month since I bought a wacom tablet. So I guess this is a milestone!

I need to stop drawing statues though!

Here’s my art after two weeks drawing with my wacom tablet. I feel like this is still my favourite drawing, and was when I finally started to feel confident I can eventually become the artist I want to be.

And here’s a second drawing I did after about a week practice. 

Here is the first drawing I did once I got the hang of my new tablet, about three weeks ago give or take. 

I’d never done digital art before buying the wacom tablet, but had done the odd sketch over the years for fun. Here’s a collection to show the standard of my drawings before I started my journey!
