Ya know what I’m so unbelievably tired and I’m going to make something very clear:
I will not tolerate you going into tags and calling other fans things like: gross, weird, etc. over who or what they ship. That means you don’t get to go around calling cloneshippers names and continue to have access to my space.
I don’t give one solitary fuck what you do or don’t like, what makes you uncomfortable, or how icky you think it is. If you’re going to be an asshole I’m going to block you. I don’t care if we’re friends. I don’t care if you’ve followed me for years. I don’t give a fuck.
Because the one thing I refuse to tolerate is rude people that call others names for daring to ship something you don’t like. There are actual fucking problems in the world and you think what you ship in a fictional universe makes you superior?
God damn whole fandoms tear each other apart over shipping it is ridiculous.
As someone who writes so much platonic relationship fanfiction I am embarrassed and disappointed that so many of the people who read my shit are like this. It makes me want to abandon my fics and delete my blog. Because why should I continue posting shit for people who treat other human beings like this? Real human beings with feelings and emotions and lives who can and have been genuinely hurt by your words.
If you didn’t know and you aren’t aware: everyone is welcome here because that is always who I’ve set out to be and who I always will be. Why do you think I stress that everyone is welcome when I post things? Because I fucking mean it. Don’t like it? I don’t give a fuck.
You’ve let animated characters and a screen between us dictate who is deserving of respect and community and who isn’t and that is disgusting. Use your block button and curate your space. It’s very simple actually.
