one study method i will swear by is truly getting immersed in the topic. developing a genuine interest in whatever it is you're trying to commit to memory truly helps information stick better. go that extra mile and do some out of syllabus reading on the topic, it helps tie all the loose ends together and it makes the study process incredibly enjoyable, too.

if you're a student at all, please take care of yourself. you don't need to compete with your classmates for who slept the least or who drank the most coffee. eat breakfast and go to sleep a little earlier. lay off studying for a night and do something nice for yourself. your body and brain will thank you.

it's hard to be the coolest cousin who is mentally ill, touch starved, annoying and reads a lot, has the best fashion sense and an unstable obsession with swords, fictional characters and always have the best comebacks, cries a lot, is always yearning and is the family failure but someone has to do it and that someone is me

once you stop fantasizing about that ideal version of yourself and start working towards becoming that person by setting your alarm clock earlier and actually going to the gym and actually volunteering at places and actually eating healthier and not procrastinating and working just a little bit harder you’ll realize that it was so easy all along. becoming your ideal self will only ever exist in your mind until you make the decision to work towards becoming that person. get up!! get going!! it’s now or never!! there is no light at the end of the tunnel!! get that flashlight and pave your own path bitch bc no one else is going to do it for u!!
