Since I had to switch up my diet recently, I tried other plant milks than soy for my coffee. I love a variety of plant milks, but for anything other than coffee. Can't do it. Despise oat milk, always have. Only good almond milk I ever had was in the USA. love cashew milk, but can't justify spending 3 EUR on a liter. Coconut and rice doesn't have enough body for coffee. Discussed this with a vegan friend, who had the audacity to recommend pea based milks. Which he described as "a neutral taste". I describe soy as a neutral taste. We fought about this. Pea based protein and milks is THE one thing I would describe as having an extreme aftertaste. For him soy is like that. Unbelievable. Anyway, soy is my girl and has been for almost 20 years. And I wont change. If you're into plant milks, I'd love to hear some ways you like to drink them.
