I am so very sad. Sparx passed away 11/24/25. He went downhill very suddenly and we think developed pneumonia. I had him hospitalized on oxygen and he got fluids and antibiotics and tried our best to stabilize him but he was just too sick to keep fighting and finally passed on his own.

I got Sparx almost 2 years ago while I was still completing my professional degree. I was so drained and needed something to look forward to. Seeing his little face before bed and giving him some pets and treats was an important part of my nighttime routine. I miss him dearly.

It has been an absolute pleasure to love and care for him. I wish we had more time.

Sparx is turning 2 years old soon! He's doing well, but definitely slowing down quite a bit. He pretty much only comes out in the evening to beg for treats/snacks, then goes back in his burrow (which like, same here dude)

This little feral cat wormed his way into my heart so hard and fast.

We had a sudden rainstorm here earlier this week and this little guy was huddled under our roof overhang I immediately purchased a house for him and he hates it 😭 Would rather stay sad and wet outside. I even put a little self-warming bed inside for him.

This is Jiji !!!

He is the feral cat that adopted us. Last week I trapped and neutered him and he got his vaccines and got microchipped. He comes every morning and evening for food and hangs out in our yard in the evenings. He was bringing us half-dead birds but now he has a bunch of toys in the yard to play with instead and has not committed any murders in the last 2 weeks. He likes to play footsie with the indoor cats through the doorframe and biting fingers :)
