I just finished up my first Donut art from #DungeonCrawlerCarl. I draw so many cats and was really putting this one off, so today i just scrapped everything i had started and went a totally new direction. I see why a lot of people avoid the tortoiseshell coloring but I tried to have fun with it.
I think that I’ve determined that book 5 - The Butcher’s Masquerade is my favorite of the series, though I do love them all. Which one is your favorite?

I hate to be doing this, but my cat has had some serious medical issues come up. Between school tuition, basic life needs, donating to mutual aid funds when I can, and her expensive rx food + regular care, I'm already stretched thin.
Another $2k in medical bills is just a stress I cannot manage right now.

One way I'm a bad cat owner is, for some reason every time I wrap gifts, the girls go insane. And I could see Ember was like "I'M A DONKEY ON THE EDGE!" so I am like "Welp, it'd be a shame if someone pushed you into crazy town" then immediately, intentionally did just that
Did it make wrapping gifts way harder? Yup. Was it fun though? Yup. I think I've always related to cats, as i am very distant with most people, I like my space and am very selective about who I get close to, I like my peace. Yet at the same time, there's a deep, innate chaotic-chaotic alignment, and that moment of chaos can be so much fun
